SEOCHO AESTHETIC CLINICS: BUDGET MEETS PREMIUM
Quieter than Gangnam, less-marketed than Apgujeong, Seocho hosts a mix of locally-favoured clinics that often deliver premium results at mid-tier prices. An overlooked corner of Seoul aesthetic medicine.
By Editorial

Seocho-gu sits south-west of Gangnam, anchoring Line 2's Seocho Station and the Express Bus Terminal. It's less-marketed than Gangnam and Apgujeong, which means the clinics here often deliver premium-tier work at mid-tier prices. An overlooked district worth knowing about.
THE SEOCHO IDENTITY
Seocho is more residential, more government-and-court-adjacent, and more local-favourite than the dense aesthetic districts to its north. The clinics here serve a steady local client base, established residents, government workers, families, rather than the foreign-tourist or young-trendy demographics. The stylistic effect: less Instagram, more steady practice.

TREATMENT SPECIALISATION
Seocho clinics skew toward established core treatments rather than the latest trending procedures. You'll find experienced injectors with 10+ years on Botox and HA fillers, mature dermatology clinics with strong Rejuran practices, and a smaller number of HIFU/lifting specialists. What you generally won't find as much of: cutting-edge new devices in their first 6 months of release.
PRICING
Seocho prices typically sit between Sinnonhyeon event tier and Apgujeong premium tier. Less aggressive event discounting than Sinnonhyeon, but cheaper than Apgujeong for the same brand and protocol. A reasonable Seocho budget: Ultherapy 300 shots ₩900K–1.3M, Allergan botox 1-area ₩90K–110K.
“Less Instagram, more years on the table. Seocho is for patients prioritising operator experience over trending devices.”
FOREIGN-VISITOR FRIENDLINESS
Mixed-to-light. Few Seocho clinics actively market to foreign visitors, most don't have full-time English coordinators. The implication for first-time visitors: verify English support before booking, or arrange your own translator. Concierge services help here, briefing the clinic in Korean and arranging visit-day translation.

GETTING THERE
Seocho Station (Line 2), Express Bus Terminal Station (Lines 3, 7, 9), or Bangbae Station (Line 2). The district extends across multiple subway nodes; clinics cluster around different stations depending on specialty. Confirm the specific station and exit when booking.
WHO SEOCHO FITS
Seocho is a great fit for foreign visitors who: prioritise operator experience over trending devices, have a routine treatment plan (botox + filler + Rejuran rather than experimental new modalities), are willing to invest in language logistics, and want a quieter, less-marketed clinic experience.
