SINSA AESTHETIC CLINICS IN SEOUL: 2026 DISTRICT GUIDE

A walkable, design-led pocket between Apgujeong and Sinsa Station that quietly hosts some of Seoul's most balanced clinics.

Sinsa is the district most first-time visitors miss. It sits one subway stop south of Apgujeong and one stop north of Sinnonhyeon, and the cluster of clinics packed between Sinsa Station Exit 8 and Garosu-gil quietly handles a large share of foreign-visitor injectables in Seoul. Prices land between Apgujeong's premium tier and Sinnonhyeon's volume tier, the walking is flat, and most reception desks already know what a foreign passport, a hotel address, and a Wise card look like.

WHERE SINSA ACTUALLY IS

Sinsa-dong covers the strip of Gangnam-gu bounded by Dosan-daero to the north, Gangnam-daero to the east, and the Han River to the west. The clinic-relevant part is the wedge between Sinsa Station (Line 3) and the southern end of Apgujeong-ro. Garosu-gil, the tree-lined retail street, runs north from Sinsa Station Exit 8 for roughly 700 metres before bleeding into the Apgujeong fashion grid. Most of the aesthetic clinics worth a foreigner's time sit on the side streets that branch off Garosu-gil, inside mid-rise mixed-use buildings with cafes and boutiques on the lower floors.

From Incheon Airport, the AREX express to Seoul Station plus one transfer to Line 3 puts you at Sinsa in about 80 minutes. From most Itaewon, Hannam, or Myeongdong hotels it is a 12 to 20 minute taxi, usually under ₩15,000 (about $11 USD). The neighbourhood is genuinely walkable, which matters more than it sounds: if you book two procedures across two clinics in one day, you will not need a second taxi.

HOW SINSA COMPARES TO APGUJEONG, CHEONGDAM AND SINNONHYEON

Apgujeong and Cheongdam are the high-end addresses. Designer boutiques, valet parking, marble lobbies, and price lists that assume a returning client base. Sinnonhyeon is the opposite end of the spectrum, dense with volume clinics that compete on per-syringe Botox and large standing discounts. Sinsa sits in between. You get the polished design language of Apgujeong, with menu prices typically 15 to 25 percent lower for the same device and the same brand of toxin.

The other difference is pace. Apgujeong clinics often run tight, repeat-client schedules and will treat a first-time foreign walk-in politely but briefly. Sinsa clinics generally allocate a longer consultation slot, partly because the neighbourhood draws Garosu-gil shoppers on impulse and partly because foreign-visitor revenue is a real share of their book. For a first Seoul trip, that extra fifteen minutes at the consultation desk is often the difference between leaving with a plan you understand and leaving with a package you got upsold into.

WHAT SINSA CLINICS ARE KNOWN FOR

The Sinsa book leans toward maintenance and tune-up work rather than surgical contouring. The treatments that come up most often in foreign-visitor consultations here are Botox (Wondertox and Nabota dominate the menu), entry and mid-tier dermal fillers, Rejuran, skin boosters, Ultherapy and Shurink Universe, and Pico toning for pigmentation. Surgical procedures like rhinoplasty and double-eyelid still happen, but the volume sits further east in Apgujeong and Cheongdam.

Practical price bands in Sinsa for 2026, based on consultation menus quoted to foreign-passport patients across the district:

  • 01Wondertox Botox, 50 units glabella + forehead: ₩90,000–₩140,000 (about $66–$103 USD)
  • 02Masseter Botox, 50 units per side: ₩180,000–₩260,000 (about $132–$191 USD)
  • 03Rejuran Healer, 2cc face: ₩270,000–₩360,000 (about $199–$265 USD)
  • 04Juvelook or Profhilo skin booster, 1 session: ₩320,000–₩480,000 (about $235–$353 USD)
  • 05Ultherapy, 300 lines full face + neck: ₩900,000–₩1,400,000 (about $662–$1,029 USD)
  • 06Shurink Universe, 600 shots full face: ₩550,000–₩850,000 (about $404–$625 USD)

These bands assume a same-day walk-in or short-notice booking, not a heavily discounted package. The cost ladder lines up roughly 10 to 20 percent above Sinnonhyeon and 15 to 25 percent below Apgujeong proper. Compare against the city-wide Botox cost guide and Ultherapy cost guide to confirm you are not being quoted a tourist premium.

HOW TO PICK A CLINIC ON SINSA-RO

Clinic density on the Sinsa side streets is high enough that picking by name alone is a losing game. A better filter, in order: confirm the procedure is on their published menu, confirm the device or brand they use is the one you actually want, confirm the price quoted in the consultation matches the menu (Sinsa is fair on this, but always check), confirm the doctor performing the injection is the same person doing the consult, and confirm VAT treatment in writing before you sit down.

Foreign-visitor English support in Sinsa is uneven. Roughly a third of clinics in the cluster have a dedicated English-speaking coordinator on staff during weekday afternoons. Another third use a translator app or a designated bilingual nurse. The last third rely on the patient bringing their own translator or doing the consult in Korean. If English fluency matters to you, screen for it on the booking call rather than at the door. The translator-services guide covers what to expect when a clinic books an outside interpreter.

WHAT ELSE IS NEARBY

Garosu-gil is the obvious draw. Coffee at Fritz or %Arabica, lunch at one of the Italian or Japanese counters on the side streets, and a slow loop through the boutiques north of Sinsa Station fills the gap between a morning Rejuran appointment and an afternoon Ultherapy slot without leaving the district. The Hangang riverside park is a 15-minute walk west, useful for a post-procedure decompression that does not involve eating or drinking too soon after injectables.

Hotels-wise, Sinsa itself has very limited foreign-friendly inventory. Most visitors who use this district as a base end up in Apgujeong (Andaz, RYSE-adjacent boutique stays) or in the Cheongdam ring (Hotel Cappuccino, Park Hyatt for the high end). Both are a 10-minute taxi or one subway stop. Staying in central Gangnam and taxiing in works fine too, since the morning subway from Gangnam Station to Sinsa is only two stops on Line 3 via Apgujeong transfer or a flat ₩6,000 cab fare.

WHO SINSA SUITS BEST?

Sinsa is the right pick for a visitor who wants a middle-tier price band, a single walkable district for a full day of treatments, and clinics that are used to handling foreigners without making it a production. It is not the right pick if you are chasing the rock-bottom per-syringe Botox quote (head to Sinnonhyeon) or if your treatment is a complex surgical case where the clinic's specific surgeon reputation outweighs district convenience (Apgujeong or Cheongdam, almost always). For a first Seoul trip built around two or three injectable appointments, Sinsa is the most forgiving base.
