SINNONHYEON CLINICS IN SEOUL: INSIDE KOREA'S MOST WALKABLE TREATMENT DISTRICT (2026)
What to expect from Sinnonhyeon's clinic strip: pricing tiers, walking routes from Exit 4, and how it stacks up against Gangnam and Apgujeong.
By Editorial

Sinnonhyeon sits one stop north of Gangnam, and it has quietly turned into the most clinic-dense walkable stretch in Seoul. Where Apgujeong leans premium and Gangnam Station leans flagship, Sinnonhyeon is where the mid-market lives. The blocks around Exit 4 are stacked floor by floor with aesthetic clinics, and for a first-time visitor that density is exactly what makes pricing competitive.
WHERE SINNONHYEON ACTUALLY IS
Sinnonhyeon Station sits on Line 9, one stop north of Gangnam Station and one stop south of Express Bus Terminal. The clinic cluster runs along Gangnam-daero from Sinnonhyeon Exit 4 down toward Gangnam Station Exit 11, roughly a 700-metre stretch. You can hit a dozen aesthetic clinics without crossing the avenue. Most visitors stay one subway stop away in a Gangnam hotel and walk over in about eight minutes. A taxi from Itaewon runs around ₩9,000 / about $6.50, and from Myeongdong closer to ₩14,000 / about $10.
The layout matters because Korean aesthetic clinics rarely advertise on the street. They live on floors 4 through 12 of mixed-use towers, behind glass doors marked with a small clinic name and a plaque listing the dermatologist. You will find ten clinics in one building. The discovery game is vertical, not horizontal. Most first-timers underestimate this and walk past four legitimate options thinking they have only seen one. The tenant directory in each ground-floor lobby is the cheat sheet, usually mounted near the elevators with floor numbers and clinic names in Korean and English.
PRICING TIER AND WHAT THAT BUYS YOU
Sinnonhyeon clinics sit in the middle of the Seoul price ladder. Expect Korean botox at around ₩99,000 to ₩180,000 per area (about $70 to $130), Rejuran at ₩220,000 to ₩320,000 per session, and Ultherapy 300-shot face packages from ₩580,000 to ₩900,000 (around $420 to $650). That is roughly 30 to 40 percent below Apgujeong premium pricing and 15 to 25 percent above Sinnonhyeon's southern neighbours toward Seocho. RF microneedling on Sylfirm X or Potenza tends to land between ₩380,000 and ₩650,000 per session depending on tip type.
The reason the band is mid-tier and not budget is staff quality. Sinnonhyeon clinics are big enough to keep board-certified dermatologists on site full-time, but they are not chasing the celebrity-clientele tax that Apgujeong charges. Treatment rooms are clean and modern. Waiting areas are smaller. Front-desk staff often speak conversational English, though dedicated translators are less common than at the Apgujeong tier. If you want to compare the brackets, our premium Apgujeong guide covers what the extra spend actually gets you.
Package pricing is where Sinnonhyeon shines. Three-session bundles for Rejuran or skin boosters often drop the per-session cost by 18 to 25 percent. The same bundle in Apgujeong typically caps at 10 percent because the labour cost gets baked in at the higher hourly rate. Always ask for the package price in writing before the consultation closes, and always confirm whether VAT is included in the figure or added at checkout. For Ultherapy specifically, our Ultherapy cost guide breaks down 300-shot versus 600-shot pricing by district.

WHAT THE WALKING ROUTE LOOKS LIKE
Start at Sinnonhyeon Exit 4. The first 200 metres going south are food, banks, and convenience stores. Aesthetic clinics begin at the second block. Look up. Building directories on the ground floor list every tenant by floor, and the clinics worth shortlisting before flying tend to cluster on the 5th to 9th floors of the bigger glass towers, where ceiling heights allow proper treatment rooms instead of converted office space.
Most Sinnonhyeon clinics run consultations between 11am and 7pm, with later evening slots common on weekdays. If you have a same-day window for treatment, mornings are easier because the busier injectables slots fill by 2pm. For full-face Ultherapy you almost always need to book ahead by at least 48 hours. The same booking lead time applies to thread lifting and to Sylfirm X or Potenza RF microneedling sessions, which run longer than standard injectables and need machine downtime between patients.

HOW SINNONHYEON COMPARES TO GANGNAM STATION AND APGUJEONG
Gangnam Station, one stop south, is louder, larger, and built around flagship clinics that run aggressive advertising. The clinic count is similar but the average ticket size is higher because the marketing budget gets baked into pricing. Apgujeong Rodeo, three stops east, is the luxury tier with brand-name doctors, marble interiors, longer consultations, and a price premium of roughly 30 to 50 percent across most procedures.
Sinnonhyeon's edge is density without the flagship markup. You can shortlist three clinics, walk between them inside 20 minutes, and complete two consultations in an afternoon. That kind of in-person comparison is hard in Apgujeong because the high-end clinics expect you to commit to one consultation per visit and reserve a longer block for it. For the full comparison across all three areas, see our Gangnam district guide.
Hongdae is the wrong choice for treatments. It is a university nightlife district with a handful of younger-skew clinics that focus on skincare facials and entry-level injectables. The expertise gap matters for anything technical: Ultherapy depth-tuning, thread placement, jawline botox, RF microneedling. Stay south of the river for those procedures, and use Hongdae only if you want facials and basic peels at lower price points than Gangnam.

PRACTICAL TIPS BEFORE YOU WALK IN
Bring cash for small balance differences and VAT, in addition to a credit card. Some Sinnonhyeon clinics quote prices VAT-included and others add 10 percent at checkout, so confirm before you agree to the package. Korean cards process faster than foreign Visa or Mastercard, and a handful of mid-tier clinics still occasionally have foreign card declines around peak booking hours. Wise or Revolut multi-currency cards have a better acceptance track record than standard foreign-issued credit cards in our experience.
Translator availability varies. The bigger Sinnonhyeon clinics keep a Mandarin or English coordinator on staff during business hours, but evening slots may be staff-language-only. If you need walk-through-level English, book a 4pm consultation rather than 6pm. For complex procedures like thread lifting, you want a translator present so the doctor can explain vector planning and entry points. Our booking guide covers the email and KakaoTalk workflow most clinics use for advance bookings.
Avoid the consultation upsell trap. Sinnonhyeon clinics are competitive enough that the doctor or consultant will often suggest add-on treatments after assessing your face. The standard line is some variant of 'while we are doing X, we can also do Y'. Decide your budget before walking in, and write down the exact procedures you want before the consultation starts. If something is recommended that was not on your list, request the written quote and sleep on it. The same offer will be available tomorrow, and the time pressure is part of the script.
