WHAT'S MY SKIN TYPE?

Five quick questions. Get your skin type, a simple Korean routine for morning and evening, and the clinic treatments in Seoul that match your skin.

1 of 5

By midday, how does your skin feel?

The five skin types

Dry
Feels tight or flaky, especially after washing. Needs gentle cleansing and rich, hydrating layers.
Oily
Shiny all over by midday, with visible pores. Light, oil-free layers and pore care work best.
Combination
Oily on the nose and forehead, normal or dry on the cheeks. Keep layers light and add moisture where needed.
Normal
Comfortable most of the day. A simple routine that protects it is enough.
Sensitive
Any of the above, but stings or turns red easily. Fewer products, no scrubs, and soothing ingredients.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know my skin type?
Notice how your skin feels by midday without products: tight or flaky is dry, shiny all over is oily, shiny on the nose and forehead only is combination, and comfortable is normal. If it often stings or turns red, it is also sensitive. The quiz above works it out in five questions.
What is the Korean skincare routine?
At night: an oil cleanser, then a gentle water-based cleanser (the double cleanse), a toner, a serum for your main concern and a moisturiser. In the morning: a gentle cleanse, a serum, a moisturiser and sunscreen every day. More steps are optional; consistency matters more than the number of products.
Which clinic treatment is best for my skin?
It depends on what you want to improve: Botox for expression lines, lasers for dark spots, RF microneedling for pores and acne scars, and skin boosters or Rejuran for dryness and dull skin. The quiz suggests up to three, with typical prices from Seoul clinics.
Is this medical advice?
No. It is general skincare guidance. A dermatologist can examine your skin and tailor a routine and treatments at a consultation.
