$1,000 VS $2,000 VS $3,000 IN SEOUL: WHAT EACH BUDGET TIER ACTUALLY GETS YOU

A practical budget-tier guide to Korean aesthetic procedures. Three concrete plans at three price points, what fits, what doesn't, and where the value sits.

Most foreign visitors to Seoul have a rough budget number in mind. Here's what each common tier actually gets you in 2026, three concrete plans at $1,000, $2,000, and $3,000, with the trade-offs at each level.

$1,000, THE INTRODUCTORY TIER

The $1,000 budget covers a meaningful first-time visit but doesn't allow for a multi-modality stack. Realistic plans:

  • 01Full-face botox (Nabota across forehead + glabella + crow's feet) ₩200K–300K + 1 syringe HA filler at ₩400K–600K. Total ~$500.
  • 02Full Rejuran 3-session protocol at ~$700 plus a single botox area for the first visit at $200. Total ~$900.
  • 03Single Ultherapy 100-shot session at $400 + botox + a hydrafacial. Total ~$700.

At this tier, pick one or two procedures and execute them well. Don't spread thin across multiple modalities; the result is unsatisfying.

At $1000, depth beats breadth, pick one or two procedures and do them well.

$2,000, THE COMFORTABLE MID-TIER

The sweet spot for most first-time foreign visitors. $2,000 buys a multi-modality stack:

  • 01Full-face botox + 2 syringes HA filler + Rejuran session 1. Total ~$1,400. Add a Hydrafacial or skin booster for $300–400.
  • 02Ultherapy 300-shot full-face + botox + 1 syringe filler. Total ~$1,500–1,800. The "lifting + freshening" combo.
  • 03Threads (8 PDO threads for jawline) + botox + Rejuran. Total ~$1,800. The "structural + maintenance" combo.

At $2,000 you can address 2–3 different concerns in a single trip. This is also where Apgujeong premium pricing becomes accessible (a single procedure at premium tier vs multiple at volume tier).

$2,000 is the sweet spot, multi-modality stacks become possible without compromising on brand tier.

$3,000, THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN

At $3,000 you can build a comprehensive plan that addresses lift, volume, and skin quality:

  • 01Ultherapy 300 shots + 2–3 syringes filler + full Rejuran 3-session protocol + botox + skin boosters. Total ~$3,000.
  • 02Premium Apgujeong-tier Ultherapy + 2 syringes Allergan filler + thread lifting (8 PDO + 4 PCL). Total ~$2,800–3,200.
  • 03Thermage FLX full face + filler + Rejuran + botox. Total ~$3,000. The "maximum tightening" plan.

At $3,000 you can also book at premium-tier clinics with named-doctor continuity rather than volume-tier clinics. The cost-per-procedure is higher but the consultation depth and procedure customisation reward more.

At $3000+, premium-tier Apgujeong clinics with named-doctor continuity become the right call.

ABOVE $3,000

Above $3,000 the marginal value per dollar drops. The exception: thread lifting (which scales linearly with thread count), complex revision cases, or genuinely premium device combinations like Thermage Eye + Ultherapy + Sofwave layered. For most first-time visitors, $2,000–3,000 is the optimal spend; budget above that for a second trip.

WHERE THE VALUE REALLY SITS

The biggest value-per-dollar at any tier comes from: (1) Korean-domestic botox and filler brands at 30–50% the cost of Western-brand equivalents, (2) Rejuran which is widely available in Korea at much lower cost than in the West, (3) HIFU/Ultherapy at significantly lower prices than US/UK clinics. The premium that doesn't pay back: Allergan brand vs Nabota, premium Apgujeong vs volume Gangnam for routine work.
