Immediately after the surgery, naturally, there was swelling and a pulling sensation. For the first few days, my face was more swollen than I expected, so I wondered, "Is this right?" There were moments when I felt anxious, but as time passed, the swelling gradually subsided. It is now the second week, and there is still some lumpiness remaining under my chin. At first, it felt hard and bumpy to the touch, but since the lumpy area is getting smaller, I am not too worried and am just watching the recovery process. Since the final results aren't out yet, rather than judging based on my current condition, I plan to wait until the swelling and lumpiness go down further. Still, I am satisfied because when I look in the mirror, I can see the line under my chin becoming a bit more defined than before. Since it is only the second week, I think it is too early to talk about the final results. As there is still lumpiness and residual swelling, I am most looking forward to seeing how it settles over the next month or two. In particular, the boundary between my chin and neck is starting to become slightly visible compared to before, so I am hoping that once the swelling and lumpiness subside further and the skin settles, I will have a much cleaner jawline than I do now.   I have monolids and severe dark circles, so while I was getting lower eyelid fat repositioning, I decided to get double eyelid surgery, epicanthoplasty, and upper eyelid lift as well.   I’ve been self-conscious about having a flat nose since I was young. Immediately after the surgery, it was difficult for the first three days because I could only breathe through my mouth due to the cotton packing, but the pain was better than I expected. It was bearable thanks to the painkiller injections and medication. I had the cotton removed yesterday on day 3, and today is day 4; while there is still some swelling, I can feel my nose rising. It was great that it was close to Gangnam Station, and when I first entered the clinic, it felt clean and luxurious. It felt more comfortable than the cold atmosphere of a typical hospital, which helped me relax a bit. The director explained the design while examining my facial structure, and I felt confident because he said he would consider the overall balance of my face. The manager was very helpful as she explained the surgery process, recovery period, and aftercare methods in detail. It took less than 3 minutes to walk from Exit 11 of Gangnam Station. I didn't feel like they were pressuring me during the consultation, and I appreciated that they listened to my concerns seriously. I can already see my nose rising even though the swelling hasn't completely gone down yet, so I'm looking forward to it. I think it will look even more natural once the swelling subsides further in 1 to 2 weeks.
