WHAT PEOPLE SAY.

Got a rhinoplasty done at Kowon, and it was definitely the right choice! The online consultation was pretty good, they gave me a full quote breakdown as well as photoshopped images of what my nose would look like. They were super sweet over whatsapp. I decided to go with them as they felt reliable. During the in-person consultation i was greeted with a translator, her name is Eya and she was an icon and really made me feel safe and heard! Super lovely, and held my hand when i needed an injection and was a bit nervous :) On the day of the surgery, everything went well, all I would say is that I wish they told me beforehand what the surgery prep would involve since it all went very quickly. Currently recovering a few days post op and my nose seems to be healing well! I would come in every 2 days to gey my nose cleaned and got an IV twice as well. Overall very good experience and would recommend :)) For context i had a bulbous nose, and got used my autologous rib cartilage.

Did both my primary and revision rhinoplasty here using my own cartilage. The reason for the revision was that my tip dropped way down and curved back down and I didn’t really take that into account when I did my first nose job as the result I wanted was way too natural for my face. But I’m really glad they let me do a revision charging only the anesthesia cost (as long as it’s within a year). As always, the staff were so nice, informational and accommodating. My hotel had accidentally thrown away my airport letter saying I had undergone plastic surgery (in case facial recognition didn’t work) and my meds and they were so quick to respond , getting me my letter and replacement prescription right away. The doctor addressed my concerns well and I feel like in 3 months it’ll “drop” to look a little more natural as he took into account how much it dropped previously. He tightened the muscle on the bottom only tip wouldn’t drop as much as before and raised my bridge higher. I’d also like to give a huge shoutout to my lovely translators, Eyatrabelsi and Fatima, who were with me through my surgery, consultation and follow ups and any questions I had for them after. Getting surgery in a foreign country is daunting so these lovely ladies have you covered.

I had been searching for the right place for my rhinoplasty for quite a while. I’m someone who does a lot of research and is very careful when making a decision, especially when it comes to surgery. I consulted with several different surgeons in Seoul before finally deciding to choose Kowon. One of the reasons I chose Kowon was that their pricing was reasonable and transparent. Unlike some clinics that charge foreigners surprisingly high prices, I felt that Kowon’s pricing was fair. I also had a very good experience with the surgeon. He was patient and took the time to answer every single question I had. He explained the procedure in detail, what he planned to do, and what I should expect before and after surgery. I really appreciated how thorough he was during the consultation. I never felt rushed. The consultant was also very kind and easygoing. We communicated through a translator, and everything went smoothly. She was responsive throughout the process and, importantly, never pressured me into having surgery. I really appreciated that because I had visited other places where I felt pressured to make a decision. I also want to mention my translator, Heather. She did a fantastic job and made communication with both the consultant and the surgeon very smooth. Having her there made the whole process much easier and more comfortable. Everything went according to plan, and I’m currently recovering from my surgery. Kowon may not be as widely known as some of the large cosmetic surgery clinics in Seoul, but that was actually part of the reason I chose them. I preferred a clinic that focuses on its specialty and provides more individualized care rather than a large, high-volume clinic where patients can sometimes feel like they are moving through an assembly line. So far, I’m very happy with my experience, and I’m looking forward to seeing my final result when I’m fully healed.

I requested revision rhinoplasty. I received consultations at various clinics in Japan and Korea, but I felt that this doctor's advice was the most accurate and trustworthy. Even during the final consultation just before the surgery, they carefully listened to my requests, and I felt confident entrusting the surgery to them. They were incredibly kind and attentive both before and after the surgery, allowing me to feel at ease. The daily check-ups and infection control are also wonderful; I feel this level of thorough support is something rarely found in Japan. I'm still in the recovery period, but I'm really looking forward to the final result!
