I want to know what I want to know I want to know what I want to say I underwent a rhinoplasty procedure that did not use artificial materials. I understood that the procedure would be performed according to the explanation given during the pre-operative consultation, and I trusted that explanation and decided to proceed with the surgery. However, after the surgery, I learned that the surgical procedure had been changed during the operation. Furthermore, I received no explanation about the change in procedure after the surgery. Moreover, the changed procedure was one that I had clearly stated before the surgery that I did not want. As a result, my nose now has a noticeable step, and the surface is uneven and unnatural. Furthermore, the area I most wanted to improve before the surgery has shown almost no improvement. Before the surgery, I specifically asked whether there was a possibility of ear deformation after the auricular cartilage harvest. At that time, I was told that "only a very small amount of cartilage will be harvested, and the shape of your ear will not change." However, despite repeatedly expressing anxiety about ear deformation after the surgery, I was told each time that "it is a normal progression and there is nothing to worry about." However, I subsequently developed an auricular hematoma, and as a result, the shape of my ear has been permanently deformed. I underwent a rhinoplasty procedure without the use of implants. I decided to proceed with the surgery based on the understanding that it would be performed according to the surgical plan explained during my pre-operative consultation. However, after the surgery, I discovered that the surgical method had been changed during the operation. I was never informed after the procedure that the surgical approach had been altered. Furthermore, the modified technique was one that I had specifically stated before the surgery that I did not want. As a result, I am currently experiencing an obvious step-off deformity and an uneven, irregular contour. In addition, there has been little to no noticeable improvement in the area that was my primary concern before the surgery. Before the operation, I specifically asked whether harvesting ear cartilage would change the shape of my ear. I was assured that only a small amount of cartilage would be taken and that it would not be enough to alter the appearance of my ear. After the surgery, I repeatedly expressed concerns about possible ear deformity, but I was consistently told that my condition was normal and not a cause for concern. However, I have since developed an auricular hematoma, which has resulted in a permanent change to the shape of my ear.

  I chose Mind to do my rhinoplasty and I am very happy with my results. I am a foreigner living in Seoul, and choosing a skilled surgeon was very challenging because there are hundreds of plastic surgery clinics in Gangnam. I wanted to choose the best surgeon that matched all of my needs. My experience with Mind from the start was very peasant. They're located in the Urban hive building and when I first stepped foot into the clinic, my first overall impression was that the clinic had a very modern, classy and new feeling. They even do a CT scan to analyze your face for the initial consultation. This was the first clinic out of the other 5 that I had visited to actually offer this into their consultation. Mind takes pride in using the latest technology to work with their potential clients. I was quite impressed. They had an english consultant who was very kind and did a wonderful job at helping me answer all my questions regarding rhinoplasty. The surgeon Dr. Lee, spoke perfect English, so I felt very comfortable working with him. I wanted to make sure that nothing would be lost in translation. The beauty consultant was not pushy at all in terms of selling me additional services (she is the person that gives the pricing structure and additional information after consulting with the doctor). The clinic was genuinely interested in my beauty goals and listened attentively to everything I was concerned about. After my procedure, I thought I would have black and bruised eyes but I was't very bruised at all. I just had slight pinkness in my left eye. All my friends asked me if I was badly bruised and they were shocked to hear that I didn't bruise much. I'm sure it's because Dr. Lee is very skilled and he specializes in rhinoplasty which allows him to master his technique. It has been about 3 weeks now since my surgery day and I'm a lot less swollen. I love my results! My deviated septum is gone and my nose is more straight now and I can breath better. My nose is less pronounced and a lot smaller in width. They also provide great aftercare, such as de-swelling laser and a VIP care treatment, so I have visited Mind a few times after my surgery to de-swell so I could return back to work ASAP. I'm so glad I found Mind and went in for a consultation. I went to 5 other surgeons in Gangnam and Mind was the best option that checked all my boxes. I have been wanting to do rhinoplasty for quite some time and finally saved up enough money to go ahead with the procedure. I am so glad that I made the right choice in choosing Mind.
