The reception area was clean and welcoming. I appreciated that the front desk staff could communicate in English, Chinese, which made the process much easier for international visitors. The consultation was conducted by a consultant rather than a doctor. The discussion mainly focused on what treatments I was interested in, and recommendations seemed to be based on a quick visual assessment rather than a detailed analysis of my skin. Personally, I would have preferred a more thorough consultation with professional guidance on what treatments would be most suitable for my skin concerns, rather than having to decide largely on my own. So do your own research and know what you want if you intend to come here. After confirming the treatments, payment was made before proceeding. I was asked to sign a consent form and was then shown to locker area, asked to cleanse my own face, and brought to a treatment room for numbing cream application. One area that could be improved is the patient care experience before and after the procedure. The staff assisting with the numbing cream and post-treatment cleaning appeared unfriendly and was quite rough. More importantly, I had concerns regarding hygiene practices. Firstly, when she was injecting the numbing solution into my arm, i had no idea what she was injecting and I had to asked her and her response was vague and uninterested. She was not wearing any gloves while handling the needle at this point. After the procedure, there was visible pinpoint bleeding on my face, yet the staff member cleaning and dabbing the treated areas was still not wearing gloves! She used tissues to wipe my face and then continued handling bottles and other items on the treatment tray with the same bare hands. While I cannot comment on the clinic's internal protocols, this was unexpected and made me feel very uncomfortable as a patient. The highlight of the visit though was the doctor. He was experienced, professional, and took the time to check on my comfort throughout the procedure. He made an effort to communicate and genuinely seemed to care about ensuring I was doing well, without rushing the procedures, which was greatly appreciated. After the procedures, I was guided back to the locker area, and again there was very little communication regarding aftercare or what to expect next. As a result, I was standing around before I decided to leave the clinic, unclear about aftercare instructions. Overall, the clinic has a clean environment and a skilled doctor, which were definite positives. However, there is room for improvement in consultation depth, hygiene practices, patient communication, and overall service consistency.
