JUVELOOK VS PROFHILO VS SCULPTRA IN SEOUL: 2026 BRAND GUIDE

Walk into any Gangnam clinic and the skin booster menu reads like an alphabet soup. Juvelook, Profhilo and Sculptra get pushed the hardest in 2026 Seoul, and they are not interchangeable. Each one stimulates collagen a different way, runs on a different session schedule, and lands at a very different price point.

THE THREE BRANDS, IN ONE PARAGRAPH EACH

Juvelook is PDLLA (poly-D,L-lactic acid) suspended in hyaluronic acid, made by Vaim in Korea. Profhilo is 100% high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid, no lidocaine, no additives. It is not a filler and it is not really a biostimulator in the classic PLLA sense. It hydrates the deep dermis and triggers fibroblasts to produce type I and III collagen over 4 to 6 weeks. The Seoul standard is 2 sessions, 4 weeks apart, then a maintenance session at 6 months. Skin looks glossy and bouncy within 3 weeks, but the effect is subtler than what Sculptra can deliver on a hollowed midface.

Sculptra is PLLA (poly-L-lactic acid), the original biostimulator, FDA-approved since 2004 and used in Korea for over a decade. It is the strongest volumising biostimulator of the three and the one clinicians reach for when a face has lost fat pad volume through the temples, cheeks or jawline. Sculptra runs on 3 to 4 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, with full collagen build visible around month 4 to 6. WHICH ONE ACTUALLY SUITS WHICH FACE?

The three brands solve different problems, so the honest answer depends on your starting skin and your goal. A dull, dehydrated, otherwise structurally young face in the 25 to 35 range does not need Sculptra volume. Profhilo or Juvelook will handle the glow and quality upgrade. A face in the 40 to 55 range with visible temple hollows, flatter cheeks and mild jowl descent will get more from Sculptra, sometimes stacked with a lifting device like Ultherapy or Shurink.

Skin quality goals: Profhilo first, Juvelook second.
